There was no insulation within the walls of this building. The leaking roof had caused several of the rafters to rot. The original hodge-podge construction pieced several types of lumber together to form studs, joists, rafters and beams. |
The interior was 'opened up' by removing a portion of two walls. A portion of upper floor was removed to create a loft. A unique opened hearth fireplace divides the rooms. |
