Welcome to a contemporary journal.

As the word "journal" implies, this is formatted for today's computer-browser technology.   The DOUBLE HELIX provides biology teachers with current news, lesson plans, sample test questions and articles pertaining to recent developments in biotechnology.   This disk contains only selected articles as a sample of the material available to subscribers.   Each article or topic is presented in a hypertext format as a complete lesson plan.   Educational goals and behavioral objectives are cited for each topic.   Each article is written in a clear style to allow students as well as teachers easy access to the subject matter.   References for further study are listed and are abstracted as supplemental material.   Sample test questions are presented for each article.

To read or print articles, references, abstracts or sample test questions; use your browser.   You may begin at any file, however the TABLE OF CONTENTS will give you a quick overview of the subjects on this disk.

We hope you find the utility and ease of use of THE DOUBLE HELIX helpful additions to your teaching skills. Please fill in the Subscription Form and mail or E-mail it to us.
