The student will develop and understanding concerning:

- the molecular basis of heredity
- natural and human-induced hazards

BEHAVIORAL OBJECTIVES:
1. The student will be able to discuss the distinction between genetic and non-genetic factors as they relate to development of an organism.
2. The student will be able to discuss the role of environmental factors upon embryonic development.
