OBJECTIVES and GOALS:

1. Be able to describe the major steps in the process of cloning mammalian embryos.

2. Understand that a developing embryo may be divided into many individuals.

3. Understand that the developing embryo is somewhat independent of the animal carrying it.

4. Understand that cloning is a modern technology used in the agriculture industry.

5. Be able to discuss some of the issues related to the use of cloning in our society.
